Join the South Bend Regional Chamber as we partner with area businesses and educators to shine a virtual spotlight on local manufacturers and manufacturing career opportunities. The virtual format extends the reach of this annual event beyond one day – and to more students, educators, parents, and community members. MFG Days 2020 kicks off October 2, with the launch of The LIFT Network career exploration video series and additional resources. We will follow this with industry panel discussions, business chats, virtual tours, and more throughout the month. We are excited to create digital tools and virtual opportunities to connect students to manufacturing.

Since the first MFG Day in 2014, 70 industry and education/training partners and more than 4,000 high school students from Adams, Clay, Mishawaka, New Prairie, Penn, Riley, Career Academy, St. Joseph, and Washington have gotten connected through MFG Day in the South Bend Region. It also provides an opportunity for parents to engage in manufacturing career conversations with their children. Your partnership illuminates a pathway for our future workforce by showing them the education and career opportunities available in our community.
